New: Robatech collaborates with Neura Robotics

Automated two- and three-dimensional adhesive application using cobots is becoming increasingly important. Through its partnership with Neura Robotics, Robatech is expanding the compatibility of its adhesive application systems to include the LARA and MAiRA cobots.

To ensure optimal coordination between the cobot and the adhesive application system, both systems are mechanically and electronically connected via the Robatech integration kit. The RobaVis user interface can be displayed on the robot's control panel via a web server. The parameters for the gluing process are set there. Motion patterns can be saved directly by leading the cobot arm through motion, without requiring any programming knowledge.

For more demanding applications, Neura offers additional AI-supported object recognition with Smart Gluing & Dosing. It determines the start and end points of the adhesive application in real time, intelligently adapts motion paths to surface variations—without predefined paths—and reduces the need for alignment corrections.
