SIRIUS ADHESIVE PATTERN CONTROL

Sirius is an external pattern control with integrated pattern monitoring for fast cold-glue and hot-melt application. Three versions enable individual configuration – from small applications to large-scale adhesive application systems. With Sirius, up to 200 application patterns can be applied, and the presence as well as the correct position of the adhesive application can be monitored. The controller can be used independently of the adhesive application system’s manufacturer.

ACTUATION OF APPLICATION HEADS FOR COLD GLUE AND HOT MELT 

The external pattern control Sirius is used to

  • control adhesive application where no other controller is available
  • apply up to 200 different application patterns
  • switch application heads – actuated by another controller – faster and reduce them
  • verify the presence of the adhesive application

The modular design of Sirius allows meeting individual requirements. The three versions – Sirius Core, Sirius Flex and Sirius Booster – are available in numerous variants, and the integrated modules can be flexibly combined. The pattern control can actuate different application heads via up to 200 application channels, while the pattern monitoring can be used to monitor the presence of the adhesive application. The user-friendly, web-based RobaVis interface ensures intuitive operation via the host machine, an external touch display, or a control device of your choice.

All versions of Sirius can be used with adhesive application systems from Robatech or any third-party supplier. Ethernet and other standardized fieldbus systems are available for communication.

SIRIUS CORE: COMPACT SOLUTION IN A BOX

Sirius Core is the convenient version of the external adhesive pattern control. A compact box contains everything required for pattern control: control module, application modules, booster modules, and a power supply. Sirius Core is designed for up to 12 application and control channels.

FLEXIBEL COMBINATIONS WITH SIRIUS FLEX

Sirius Flex allows flexible combinations of individual Sirius components—control module, application modules, booster modules, and one or more power supplies—integrated into a cabinet or placed in a decentralized location. Up to 200 different application patterns can be applied, and 200 adhesive applications can be monitored.

SIRIUS BOOSTER: SPEED UP APPLICATION HEADS

The booster module can be controlled by the customer’s PLC as a stand-alone module. With Sirius Booster, application heads can be overexcited for faster switching times and reduced for a longer service life.
