Robatech USA sells and services industrial gluing equipment, which is utilized on the production lines of some of the largest household names in the world. Our customer base is very diverse allowing Robatech to enter into many different markets which require adhesive applications.

NATIONAL SALES ENGINEERING MANAGER

Responsibilities of the Role

 

  • Utilize knowledge in cold and hotmelt adhesive lines to establish nationwide sales strategies, goals, and activities. 
  • Collaborate with regional territory managers to align local objectives with overall company targets.
  • Partner with inside sales and operations teams to ensure accurate spare parts quotations and equipment availability in response to customer requests.
  • Develop and implement effective national sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. 
  • Lead a nationwide sales team to achieve sales targets, optimize performance, and maintain alignment with corporate objectives. 
  • Collaborate with the Robatech engineering team to configure and adapt products to meet specific customer requirements and applications
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with major customers, fostering long-term relationships and strategic partnerships. 
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. 
  • Work closely with headquarters to design and customize products that meet complex customer specifications. 
  • Engage directly with customers’ engineering teams to discuss technical details – including electrical, pneumatic, and schematic requirements – ensuring accurate and efficient system integration. 
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts using Salesforce and Excel.
  • Conduct market research and leverage Salesforce data to identify new customer opportunities and emerging market trends. 
  • Stay current with new product launches, ensuring all sales team members are informed, trained, and equipped to promote updated solutions. 
  • Travel domestically to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and support product demonstrations and technical seminars. 
  • Represent Robatech at industry events and customer sites, delivering presentations and providing technical sales support as needed. 

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign degree equivalent, in Mechatronics Engineering, or a closely related field. 
  • Must have one (1) year of experience managing sales of cold and hot adhesive lines. 

JOB TYPE:

  • Supervise six (6) subordinate Regional Sales Managers throughout the U.S. Position is remote; may work from anywhere in the U.S. Requires up to 50% domestic travel to various unanticipated worksites.
