This log information includes your Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your query and one or more cookies. We use this information to better understand user’s behavior, to further improve our offerings, for security analysis reports and to defend against cyber-attacks.

In addition, we collect personal data (e.g., names, addresses, telephone numbers, or e-mail addresses) in connection with the operation of our websites only when you have voluntarily provided such data to us (e.g., through registration, contact inquiries, surveys, etc.) and when we are entitled to process or use such data by virtue of permission granted by you or on the basis of a statutory provision. As a general rule, we use such data only for the purpose for which you divulged the data to us, such as to answer your inquiries, process your orders, or grant you access to certain information or offerings. Your data will be processed for advertising purposes via e-mail or similar channels if you have given your consent.

In order to better assist customer relationships, it may be necessary that we save and process your personal information and share it with our worldwide Robatech network to better understand your business needs or to improve our products and services; or that we use this personal information to contact you regarding future offers, so as to support your business needs, or to conduct online surveys to better understand your requirements.

Some of our services require you to register for an account. We ask you for some personal information in order to create an account and we will use that information to provide the service. When we require personally identifying information, we will inform you about the types of information we collect and how we use it.

We do not share, rent or sell your personally identifying information to other companies or individuals but we may share it within the Robatech group. We may only share such information in any of the following limited circumstances:

  • We have your expressed consent.
  • We provide such information to trusted businesses or persons for the sole purpose of processing your request on our behalf. When this is done, it is subject to agreements that oblige those parties to process such information only on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
  • We conclude that we are required by law or have a good faith belief that access, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Robatech, its users or the public.

If you have submitted information to any of our services or to our global network (subsidiaries, affiliated companies, distributors and channel partners), we may share the information submitted among all of our services as well as our global network to the extent necessary to provide you with our services and to improve them. We will not disclose your information to other people or non-affiliated companies, except in the limited circumstances described in this Policy or with your consent.

We may store and process personal information collected on our site in any country in which Robatech or our hosting providers maintain facilities. Please find here a list of Robatech entities worldwide. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of your information among these facilities, including those located outside your country which may deemed to have no adequate data protection legislation in the view of the EU and/or Switzerland. In cases this takes place, Robatech however has implemented adequate guarantees to ensure adequate protection of the personal data.

Storage limitation

If not indicated otherwise, personal data (customer data excepted) is stored until the purpose is reached. Robatech may have a story obligation to retain data for financial, tax and other legal reasons. Such period is depending on the particular data and countries involved and - as a rule - does not exceed eleven years. Data used in the context of web-analytics typically are deleted or made full anonymous within very few days.
