In paper pallet wrapping, the pallet is wrapped and stabilized semi- or fully automatically using stretchable kraft paper. A precise cold glue swirl application securely attaches the paper web to the pallet and holds it together during depalletizing. This allows it to be removed in one piece and sent for recycling.
Paper banding also significantly reduces the amount of plastic in secondary packaging. Paper is glued together with a hot melt bead to form a band, which is slipped over a multipack of bottles or other consumer goods.
Both the adhesive application systems for cold glue and hot melt adhesive can be easily integrated into paper wrapping applications.
