Utmost care is required when manually filling granulate into the hot tank. Using RobaFeed 3 and GlueFill, the operator does not fill the hot tank anymore, but the separate, unheated granulate container GlueFill. In the meanwhile, the melter is automatically supplied with adhesive as needed.
The system is filled reliably and as needed with the proper amount of granulate. This reduces the risk of unscheduled downtime and the melter requires less maintenance. This means increased line efficiency through maximum system availability.
Working with the automatic filling system RobaFeed 3 and the granulate container GlueFill is not only safer, it also simplifies granulate refilling. The GlueFill can be accessed better and the opening is larger than the opening of the melter. As a result, less granulate is spilled and less cleaning is required.
