The highlight at our trade fair booth was clearly the edge banding system consisting of the tried-and-tested EdgePro coating head and the new Canduro adhesive melter. As a new generation adhesive melter, Canduro impresses with modern technology: Thanks to the Robatech Control System, standardized interfaces are provided for easy system integration. The system can be conveniently operated via mobile devices using the integrated WLAN access point - an aspect that has met with great interest from numerous machine manufacturers. The process-specific user interface is another convenient feature of the new adhesive melter.
The use of coating heads instead of rollers in edge banding is still not very common. However, the advantages speak for themselves: closed systems such as Robatech's enable more efficient production, simplify processes, can be easily automated and help to save adhesive and reduce the carbon footprint.
Robatech is also a trusted partner when it comes to repairing wooden surfaces. Machine builders such as Wintersteiger or Heinrich König use our adhesive application systems to efficiently fill knotholes in wooden panels with adhesive, for example. These applications could be seen directly at the respective booths - a good example of the versatile use of our technology.
Robatech systems are also used in numerous special machines - for example at Lehbrink, with whom we were recently able to realize a side wall gluing project for the new IKEA Pax 2.0 wardrobe. Such applications show: Robatech adapts flexibly to individual requirements.
Ligna 2025 was once again an inspiring place to exchange ideas with machine builders, users and interested parties. And it showed that Robatech technology can be found in many applications in the wood industry - visible or hidden. We would like to thank all our partners and visitors for the engaging discussions at the trade fair, their cooperation and trust.
