Joel Costa wanted to take edge banding to the next level in terms of application quality and efficiency. A perfect optical zero joint and improved durability of the bonding are only two of the high demands he placed on the closed adhesive application system from Robatech. The heart of the new system is the EdgePro coating head. In combination with the RobaPUR 2 MOD melter, it achieves a controlled, repeatable PUR adhesive application over the full edge length and width of the workpiece. The effects on the entire process are enormous.

«With the implementation of the EdgePro system, we were able to significantly improve the quality of our edge banding. In addition, the minimized maintenance effort led to an increase in our productivity.»

Joel Costa, CEO
IDC Mobiliário
