SpeedStar Diamond – for a fast and precise adhesive application

SpeedStar Diamond jetting heads are characterized by fast, precise adhesive application of beads and dots and very high durability. The electro-mechanically operated jetting heads are suited for contact-free coating of low- to medium-viscosity thermoplastic hotmelt adhesives.

The SpeedStar Diamond is designed for extremely short switching cycles with small and precise adhesive dots in processes with very high speeds. Thanks to the narrow design of the SpeedStar modules, the jetting heads are available in multiple-module versions. The SpeedStar Diamond jetting heads operate with 24 VDC and can be directly actuated via a PLC.

Reliable, safe, and modular

Integrated filter

Despite temperatures up to 185 °C and viscosities up to 2,500 mPas, SpeedStar Diamond application heads reach a very high service life thanks to their high quality. The repeatability is unique, resulting in a consistent dot size and positioning without manual recalibration across the entire service life. Thanks to the integrated filter in the heating block, nozzle blockage is prevented. The jetting heads are electromechanical and do not require compressed air.

The Diamond series increases operational safety with CoolTouch insulation. The jetting head insulation protects operators as well as products to be glued from heat. The heat-resistant insulation reduces energy consumption and ensures a constant adhesive temperature, even with a draft from very fast running machines.

All application heads of the Diamond series feature a modular design and enable us to match them exactly to the customer-specific production needs. As part of the Diamond series, it is compatible with most Robatech application systems. This simplifies integration into existing machines and reduces spare part costs.
