The Polyurethane-based (PUR) hot melts are quite different compared to the traditional hot melt adhesives used in many industries.
PUR offers many benefits not possible with the thermoplastic adhesives.
Traditional hot melt adhesives, set through cooling. PUR, once setted, keep on building cohesion strength by curing in presence of moisture. Once cured the cross-linked PUR generate a high performance membrane and resists at temperature extreme. In contrary, the traditional HM become liquid again when heated.
