The standard cold glue pumps are intended to pump dispersion coldglues (water-soluble coldglues) and cold glues containing solvent coldglues with a viscosity of up to 20,000 mPas.
They are available in three different structural shapes with three different pump types:
- Cold glue complete appliance with a 24 litres tank of stainless steel
- Bucket pump, to be placed on a glue bucket or similar like a lid.
- Wall pump, to be firmly screwed to a wall and pumping the glue from a bucket placed underneath
The CXT pump systems are used to feed cold liquids of low and medium viscosity. They are suitable to feed dispersion adhesives (waterbased coldglues). Three different pump types are available.
The Double diaphragm pump CXMP is used for a big pump capacity and mean glue pressure.
Pressure tanks DT 5, DT 10 and DT 40
Die Pressure tanks of stainless steel are used for processing cold liquids of low viscosity. They are particularly suitable for dispersion- and solvent-based glues with viscosities below 5,000 mPas. In completion a mini tank version of 0.75 litre exists.
The glue pressure must be closed loop controlled in dependence of the speed if a constant glue quantity is required at various machine speeds. In combination with a proportional valve, the glue pressure regulator closed loop controls the glue pressure in dependence of the preset pneumatic pressure.
Gear Pumps
For applications like 1C-PUR application, where precise metering is demanded a gear pump might be used.
